Multifunction Print Copy Scan
Simply put, a multifunction device combines the printer, copier and scanner from three separate machines into one multifunction printer (MFP). In practice nowadays, the modern office will have an MFP which saves on floor space. It also saves on cost as the maintenance and number of operating parts are naturally reduced with fewer machines in operation.
MFPs are typically networked to employees’ work stations so a single MFP can and does replace the much more expensive individual desktop printer. (Individual printers can of course be retained as the business needs dictate). This reduces cost per copy cost as MFP toners (a critical cost factor) are much more cost effective.
MFPs are Copytype’s ‘bread and butter’ and we have a large installed base in all sectors of the economy. We are well experienced installing, networking and maintaining MFPs.
